More Sightseeing in Yellowstone.

Yesterday we got up early so we could get in everything we wanted to do for the day.   The first thing we saw from our window was an elk on the campsite behind ours.
We watched it eating and then it decided to lick the water spigot.  Just to let you know this campground has no hook ups so RV'ers use the spigots scattered through out the campground for water.

We toured down the West side, then across the South side and ended the day coming back up on the East side.  It was a very long ride but the scenery was awesome.   Here are some of the pictures we took on our route.

This was the view from our picnic site.

We were able to catch Old Faithful just as it was starting to blow.  This was our third time to see it and it never gets old.   I posted the video on facebook if you would like to check it out.

Today we visited the Norris Geyser Basin and Mount Washburn.  I don't know how we missed these two areas when we were here before but we did.  So glad we had the chance to see it now.

Here are the views from Mount Washburn.

Our day wouldn't be complete without driving around Mammoth to watch the elk.  Everyday just before dusk they seem to congregate there.  The huge elk was there again. Couldn't resist getting more pictures of him.

Here he is rounding up the females.

Tomorrow will be a travel day for us.  We will be heading to Billings, MT to visit with Leland and Cathy Schliep.

Laugh everyday.  Happy Trails.  Stay safe.
