Time to go.

We left Indian Springs on Monday.  It doesn't seem like a whole month has passed but it is time to move on.  It is always sad to say "see ya later" to our friends at Indian Springs.  We are going to miss everyone there.  This place always feels like home to us.

Dick and John.  They were saying their last "see ya later".

Dick and Skeeter.  Skeeter is laying on the sit next to Dick.
John, me and Kim.

We arrived at Mistletoe State Park in Appling, Georgia before 5:00 p.m.
Our site.  The only problem we have here is a weak cell phone and wifi signals.

Tuesday afternoon we took a drive into Thomson for a few groceries.  We were in the mood for some ice cream so John found a place called Delicacies Cece's.  When we walked in the first thing we noticed was the aroma of fresh baked cup cakes and a very friendly smiling lady.  As we sat there enjoying our afternoon snack we soon learned that the lady's name was Cecelia; the owner of the place.  We talked about cooking and traveling for a while.  She was interested in a couple of pie recipes that John makes so he made a couple for her to sample.  He dropped them off today and we both enjoyed a milkshake and stayed a while visiting with her.  When we headed for the RV I dropped my iPad.  It broke so we are heading to Augusta in the morning to have the screen replaced then up to meet fellow RV'ers Mike and Terri at their volunteer job at a local COE park.

Cece busy with one of her cakes.

Yesterday we traveled to Greenville, SC for my two year checkup appointment for my shoulder with Dr. Porter.  I am happy to say I got a good report.

Laugh everyday.  Happy trails.  Stay safe.

  1. Good to hear you are doing fine. We are heading to the family reunion in Louisiana next week. Still in Galveston and having a great time. We plan on making a swing east maybe next year. Could be we might see you then.
